Ravi, an insomniac taxidriver in Bombay is tormented by memories of his sister's death and the events that caused it. During his nocturnal driving he meets Pooja, a damsel in distress, and at great risk, attempts to rescue her from the tentacles of Maharani, an evil proprietress of a brothel.
