Some of these barriers are incorporate in themes such as: classroom structure, learning strategies, classroom environment, and self-concept. Schools with Response to Intervention (RtI) work to identify effective approaches and techniques to educate this group of learners. This thesis, which includes a literature review with application emphasis, provides a sample curriculum embedded with methods and strategies for teacher as well as curriculum advisors to enhance math proficiency of school dependent sixth through eight grade students with the goal of "meeting" grade-level math standards in an environment that focuses on student self-concept."--leaf 3. | ||
