Description
Summary:Made up of about twenty interviews filmed in the United States, Paris and Barcelona, and documents from the archives about the political action of sex workers, queer activists and performances of another kind, Mutantes is a documentary that gives the floor to pro-sex activists and follows the evolution of the movement from the 80s to the present.
A documentary from the perspective of pro-sex feminism which asserts that pornography must be wrested from patriarchal control, and that in the hands of women and sexual minorities, it can become a tool of liberation. Director Virginie Despentes takes a wide ranging look at the movement and maps the evolution of pro-sex, with roughly two dozen interviews with members of the post-porn movement.
